Bo Hoag secured his for Korn Ferry Tour win at the WinCo Foods Portland Open. His win secured his 2019-2020 PGA TOUR Card.
Sung-Jae Im tied the bow to a record breaking 2018 Korn Ferry TOUR campaign at Pumpkin Ridge. Shooting 4 consecutive rounds in the 60’s and winning by 4 strokes at 18-under, Im solidified his place in the history books. The Portland Open was Im’s second win of the year. He was named Rookie of the Year and the first Wire to Wire money leader in Tour history.
After beginning the final round in a tie for 11th Garnett posted a final round 65 that included five birdies over his final eight holes to pull away from a packed leaderboard. The win was Garnett’s second of the year leading to Player of the Year Honors as voted by the Korn Ferry Tour fans.
The former Michigan State golf coach took the lead after a 63 in his opening round. He never looked back posting consecutive rounds of 68 over the weekend to secure a one stroke victory. With the win Brehm jumped from 30th to 4th on the Money List securing his PGA TOUR card in the process.
The University of Alabama product carded four sub-70 rounds on his way to a three-shot win. The victory marked Pride’s first at the professional level since his breakthrough PGA TOUR win in Memphis eleven years prior.
Ortiz topped a leaderboard that included future Ryder Cup members Justin Thomas and Daniel Berger. The win marked Ortiz’ third of the season earning him an automatic promotion to the PGA TOUR becoming the first players in five years to do so.
