(Portland, OR – September 12, 2013) – Executive Director Jeff Sanders and WinCo Foods Northwest Division V.P. Megan Snyder welcomed nearly 200 non-profit, youth organization, and athletic program representatives to the Oregon Convention Center on Thursday, September 12th to learn the details of the Nabisco TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program associated with the recently announced WinCo Foods Portland Open. The new Portland professional men’s golf tournament is a key event on the PGA TOUR’s Web.com Tour schedule, and will be played at Pumpkin Ridge’s historic and exclusive Witch Hollow course August 18-24, 2014. WinCo Foods is the Title Sponsor and is proud to be bringing PGA TOUR golf back to Pumpkin Ridge for the first time in 20 years. The event will showcase some of the world’s finest golfers and the future stars of the PGA TOUR, with 25 PGA TOUR Cards up for grabs on Sunday at the conclusion of the final round of the WinCo Foods Portland Open, the final full-field regular season event of the 2014 Web.com Tour season.

WinCo Foods announced at a June 14th press conference that it will donate 100% of all tickets to charities and youth organizations to sell and keep 100% of the revenue for their organizations in Oregon and Southwest Washington through the Nabisco TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program. The TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program, created by Jeff Sanders Promotions, Inc., the Beaverton, Oregon based Tournament Management Company of the WinCo Foods Portland Open, has been successfully implemented at 29 events that span the PGA TOUR, Web.com Tour, Champions Tour and LPGA TOUR. The total amount generated from TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ in 16 Web.com Tour events, all produced by Jeff Sanders Promotions across America, is nearly $7.5 Million. Charities and youth organizations sold $1,035,000 worth of tickets, and kept 100% of the revenue, at a 2013 Web.com Tour event in Boise, Idaho managed by Jeff Sanders Promotions.

Executive Director Jeff Sanders shared with the Portland non-profit community at today’s room-filled kickoff, “Reach for the stars the sky is the limit, this year-round fundraiser selling 100 percent of all PGA TOUR Web.com Tour tickets to next year’s tournament has no cap. The amount of revenue each of you can earn for your organizations is unlimited.”

All non-profits, youth organizations, and athletic programs in Oregon and Southwest Washington are invited to participate in the program. Interested organizations should contact Andy Perry at andy@jspgolf.com or 503-924-6210 for more information.

Advance weekly tickets for the tournament will be priced at ONLY $25 and will be good for admission Thursday through Sunday of tournament week. Advance price tournament tickets and group packages are now on sale at www.WinCoFoodsPortlandOpen.com. Ticket buyers are required to designate one of the participating non-profit organizations to benefit from all ticket purchases.
